Is DecksToronto a deck builder?
DecksToronto is a planning and information site. The building work is done by the installer a request is referred to: Delta Decks, an affiliated builder, or another installer when that fits better.
Will my request only go to Delta Decks?
Not necessarily. Because of the affiliation, requests in Delta Decks' service area may be referred there. For other locations or project types, DecksToronto may suggest another installer. Either way, the installer confirms whether the project fits.
My city is not on the list. Can I still ask?
Yes. Use the same request form for any Ontario location. A listed city is not a guarantee either; availability is confirmed after the request is reviewed.
Who handles the building permit?
That depends on the proposal. Delta Decks lists permit-ready drawings and permit assistance, but the written scope should name who prepares drawings, who applies and who pays the fees. The Toronto permit guide explains when a permit is needed.
